500 sf Home Addition & 3,000 sf Home Remodel, San Mateo
These clients were looking for the contemporary look on the interior and the ranch-style exterior look on their 2,000 sf Portola Valley home. Sigura Construction worked with its design team to meet the codes and heavy regulations of the Portola Valley City building department. In order to speed up the process, we worked on opening two permits; one for the remodel – and while commencing work on this – and for the other permit, we started working with the City to comply with their regulations regarding the addition, including the vast deck that would be built on a sloped terrain. We worked with the client on customizing all the cabinets and maximizing storage space to their needs. After four months of rigorous work, the house was ready for our client to move into. The house exhibited our usual high quality workmanship, and high-end finishes. Sigura Construction used its custom cabinet maker, and well known brand names like Grohe, Axoure , as well as custom granite work. Tile was chosen from high-end supplier, Porcelanosa.
