We typically don't write reviews, but this one is special and deserves 5 stars! The review below is long because we wanted to share our experience as the details do tell the story. The short version of it is that If you (or anyone you know) are looking for a contractor my wife and I are highly recommending Sigura construction. You won't regret this decision. The long version: The Sigura team just finished a 3-month remodeling project on our house and did an amazing job. They have completely transformed our house. The before and after looks like two different places. Night and Day. Seriously! The entire process from start to finish was fantastic. It felt different already with the quote. Ilan Sigura, the owner, was very diligent when we requested a quote. He came for an hour (maybe two) tour of our property and took very detailed notes of everything we wished to do. Within few days we received a very detailed quote. It provided all the details required to make a sound decision. If you are the person that likes details, you'd love the quotes Ilan provides. It breaks down each sub-project, line items, labor, and material. Easy to read and use for budgeting and tracking.! A week or so before the project started Ilan came again for a 2nd tour and brought with him Jose (dedicated on site project manager) and Chris (material supply). He made sure everyone on the same page and clear of what is required. This made us feel so comfortable with our decision to select Sigura constructions for our home remodeling. After all, it's a big decision and it felt we are in good hands as everyone assured us, they will treat our house as theirs. In the same meeting we also agreed on what will be done each week and, on a day,/time for a weekly follow up meeting to review progress against schedule and or issue and additional requests. We couldn't ask for better system to manage the project. Jose, our dedicated on-site project manager, is a great person and magician when it comes to constructions. He showed up every morning on time with a positive attitude and tons of energy. If he had any question, he would give us a call before taking actions. We were very impressed with the quality of his work. He never cut corners and will go the extra mile to fix any issues he sees. Jose is professional and dedicated; He took this project so seriously that he and I used to joke about him dreaming about it. We felt so lucky having him leading our remodeling. Jose's right-hand man for the project was Rudy; he is the painter and dry wall artist. He takes so much pride in his work. Each time we had the opportunity visiting the house during the remodeling he will proudly tour the house with us and showing all the work done.!! But it's not just Jose and Rudy it's the entire team that are so professional, polite, and hard workers. We were worried that with such a long project our neighbors might be annoyed and upset (I mean who likes 3 months of constant daily noise) but the on contrary; they told us the Sigura team was very polite and nice. They maintain clean street, only came during working hours and didn't take parking space. It was a relief getting this awesome feedback from our neighbors. The office crew: Ronit and Chris are also amazing. Chris made sure all required material for the different stages of the project will arrive on time. Ronit helped with any general question and did the billing. She provided details for each invoice in a very clear manner. She provides fantastic customer service and will take the time warmly answering any billing question. Last but not list; Ilan himself is hands-on. He can be reached out daily through text messages and phone calls if needed. He works around the clock and have unlimited energy and patience. He is very experienced and knows remodeling can be stressful times for homeowners and as such will make himself available when needed. He will typically respond immediately and if busy will return a call within less than an hour. He is also very honest that cares allot about his customers. He provided throughout the project so many good suggestions even if it meant less money for him! He gave us project credit because he found that an item from the original project "wish list" wasn't needed.! Unbelievable. He built his business for more than 20 years and will make sure the quality and overall experience are the best. Great experience with Sigura Construction. Yes, it was that good! We are so pleased that have decided to do another big project with Ilan and the entire Sigura Construction team. Rare find.

Sigura Construction did an excellent job in our house. They transformed the family room to a beautiful room full of function and comfort by designing and building a new fireplace mantle, new recessed lighting, new floors, etc. Ilan was always proactive and very responsive throughout the project and beyond.

We have finished a major remodeling with Sigura team. The owner Ilan is very professional - understands the nuts and bolts of every aspect in the process. Provides options for everything and gets you involved in the decision process. The team was very flexible and accommodated that and helped with the design itself. The quality is top notch. Ilan will not sign off on something that is less than perfect. My husband is picky and every time he pointed as something that was done only 99% clean, the team redid it. Remodeling is scary and long; frustrating at times. Working with a team that you can trust, and nice people that you interact with on a daily basis helps. They were clean and very respectful. The results are awesome. We're very grateful and happy with how things progresses. We now have a very nice kitchen, master bedroom and a great patio Keith nana wall that we would have never considered unless Ilan insisted and it was one of the best decisions ever. I'm seen multiple jobs before we signed up with Ilan. All looked very clean and nicely done. Great quality. I would highly recommend hiring this team for major or even minor jobs. At least get a quote. You will fall in love with Ilan

We did a major remodel and also added some square footage to what used to be our old house. What a beautiful transformation it is! Ilan and his team did a marvelous job! Ilan is very knowledgable and attentive to detail.He gave us advise on what to opt for and what not to opt for; we never regretted going with his advise. We are very happy with the outcome and would definitely recommend him to friends and family.

I would like to recommend Sigura Construction for every remodel, New Construction, painting or foundation job you may have. Every time I work with Sigura Construction I’m impressed with the quality, customer service and the superb workmanship. The owner is the most honest and reliable person I met and it shows through his work. I really love working with the company.

We hired Sigura Construction to gut and rebuild a master bathroom. From start to finish, communication was excellent. Ilan, the owner was invaluable in dealing with a 1960's bathroom and 2024 building codes, helping us design a stylish bathroom, and was immediately available for every question or concern that we had. The men, William and Abel worked tirelessly every day. Their attention to detail showed in every step, and we now have a new bathroom that looks like a magazine photo. I highly recommend Sigura Construction and will hire them again for any work that we need in the future.

Excellent job by Sigura Construction at our house in Silicon Valley. I used Sigura Construction and the experience was amazing. The Production manager was very informative, and accommodating . He made sure that the process will be fast and smooth. The owner sent us a crew even though we live far. The construction team was doing amazing job. they were organized and methodical. I do recommend them to anyone as their service is amazing. We were highly referred to Sigura by friends and can not be more impressed. We had a tree fall on our almost brand new house and we needed quick and professional repair. Ilan (the owner) personally handled all of the interaction with the insurance company shielding us from all the messiness there and came out to perform the work within a week of the final insurance approval. He followed up promptly with a site visit to make sure we were personally satisfied with all aspects of the job even though this is considerably a very small project for his company. I was extremely impressed!

I grew up watching home renovation shows and always dreamed of having the perfect home. I found out about Sigura Construction from a friend after she gave me a tour of her newly remodeled home. I was so envious and felt like I had to make modifications to my home as well. I showed Sigura a few examples of kitchen designs I collected from Better Homes & Gardens magazine throughout a few years. Together, we designed the most beautiful white, french country style kitchen. He was very understanding of everything I asked for while adding his touch of expertise. I have done two major remodeling projects with Sigura Construction over the past three years. The first was an update of the kitchen and bathroom in my 1940s-era concrete-block house on the SF Peninsula. Sigura's estimate was detailed and fairly priced, taking into consideration the time that would be required for permit approvals and inspections (no easy feat during COVID). During construction, Ilan and his team communicated quickly and clearly whenever something came up that required a change order (you never know what you'll find behind 80-year-old wallboard...) They brought the project in on time and on budget, and we love the results. The second project was even more impressive. Last year my family was living in Europe on a temporary work assignment when our tenants brought to our attention to a mildew problem in the bedrooms, specifically on the inside of the exterior walls. This is not what you want to hear when you are 6000 miles away! Luckily we had Ilan. He proposed an ambitious project to insulate the exterior walls from the inside using closed-cell foam insulation, and at the same time to replace all the flooring he had not yet refreshed in the bath-and-kitchen job. We told him we had new tenants arriving in a few months and everything needed to be done before they arrived. Ilan was excited for the challenge. His team handled all the details, starting with moving all our furniture into a storage container in the driveway. Then, with impressive professionalism, they executed the project precisely on schedule—and that included all the typical unforeseen challenges, like when they discovered a layer of ancient linoleum under the existing parquet floor, or when we had to relocate an old gas line to bring it up to code. My family is truly grateful for the care and diligence of Ilan, Chris, and the entire Sigura team on this project. We arrived home a few weeks ago to what felt like a brand-new house, thanks to Sigura Construction. I highly recommend working with them.

Sigura Construction helped me with a project involving demolishing and rebuilding my driveway. This concrete work was complex since it involved Public Works. Other contractors could not fulfill all the Public Works requirements. However, Sigura Construction was able to meet all compliance standards and proceed. The finished project far exceeded my expectations and now I have a beautiful new driveway. All Public Works standards were met with approvals and without issues. Overall, Sigura Construction was very professional and produced high quality work. They were always on time, and maintained a clean worksite. They explained everything and were completely honest the entire time. I highly recommend them for any construction work with Sigura Construction

Sigura Construction was brought in to assist our company with a refresh and remodel of our employee lunchroom. We wanted to brighten the room and make it a more comfortable space for employees. Sigura's designer came in and brought lots of color to the room, put in furniture that created a warmer and more inviting space, and most importantly made the space more functional for all our needs (breaks and company meetings). Sigura's onsite construction team was professional, thorough, courteous, clean, and went out of their way to insure that not only was the work of the highest quality, but also did an excellent job of keeping the space as usable as possible for our employees while they were finishing each element of the job. Ilan and his entire staff were excellent to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them based on our experience. Keep up the good work Sigura!

Sigura Construction did landscape work in my backyard as well as a bathroom remodel, and installation of new flooring throughout my house. I cannot say enough about how amazing my backyard looks. New grass, a beautifully paved walkway, a water fountain with a serene sound, and the most colorful flowers I've ever had! My bathroom is also better than what my original plans called for, and I'm so glad that the owner, Ilan, made the suggestion he did for the wall ledge in the shower. Such a functional feature, that eliminates the need for a plastic shower caddy to hold my shampoo and conditioner. And the combination of tile and hardwood flooring to distinguish between the family room and the rest of the house was such a great idea by Doug, the production manager. And the crew that worked at my house was clean and respectful. I am pleased as punch, and will definitely use Sigura Construction again, if ever another construction need arises!

My wife and I recently had a total kitchen remodel done by Sigura. This included new cabinets, appliances, lighting, electrical code upgrade, flooring, tile, and paint. We quoted several companies and decided on Sigura because their price was competitive, they are diamond certified, and they were willing to work within the constraints we laid out. The work crew was anchored by Jose and Miguel who were very responsible, knowledgeable and caring about the quality of work provided. As needed other subs were brought in (flooring, tile, countertop) but Jose was THE GUY who kept the job on track and up to standards. They did a great job in sealing off the construction area so that dust did not intrude on the rest of the house. From construction start to finish was seven weeks and considering the amount of work involved, we were pleased with this relatively tight timeframe.

I am doing this review mainly to honor my husband who passed away before completion of the remodel of his old ranch house. My husband worked closely with Ilan and his great crew, Chris and Jose. It was a complete remodel which at time was quite challenging. Ilan's diligence in getting approvals of the city of Sunnyvale were very daunting at times, but eventually he got it done. There were glitches from time to time but after several meetings and phone calls, the work had been corrected and completed and the house was completed. The end result was a gorgeous new and elegant house. The open floor concept with its high ceiling and sky lights is a great plus for the once old and dark ranch house from the 70's. Sigura Construction is absolutely outstanding! Ilan and his team helped us from the very beginning -- designing the changes to our house, making thoughtful recommendations on colors and finishes, and handling all the city approvals quickly and without stress. What really amazed us was the speed and quality: our entire home was fully rebuilt in just 6 months, which is about 60% of the time that other builders estimated. We just completed our full house remodel in Irvine. I know Ilan Sigura for years and familiar with his quality of work. I was worried taking chances with other contractors. Ilan helped us through out the entire process. He flew a crew in and was there for us even from far away. Any question we had he immediately responded, helped us choose fixtures and solved any issue we encountered. My wife and I are so grateful and thankful for everything Ilan has done for us.

Very professional team. They provide a turnkey solution for any renovation need you might have. From garage conversion all the way to rebuilding. 3 of my friends also did big project with them. We have used Sigura Construction twice and have a 3rd project coming up. They have a great process, including a fabulous project manager, Adi, who is meticulous on details, communication and construction expertise. Sigura Construction has been remodeling my kitchen/living room. The construction required new load-bearing beams and significant architectural changes (plumbing, PG&E, as well as structural changes). Also, new wood flooring, painting, with new windows. Lot's of work and activity. Sigura has both met and exceeded my expectations. They are a professional team, led by a project manager that takes personal interest in the work. In one example, our PM asked that some work be re-done, it didn't meet the standard of excellence that Sigura promotes. Just like every home improvement project, there are bumps along the way, such as misunderstandings, additional work and cost unknown until the project progresses. Again Sigura has communicated with my wife and I, as early as possible, and in some instances gave us options. In the chaos of home improvement, Sigura has excelled in managing the chaos.
