We typically don't write reviews, but this one is special and deserves 5 stars! The review below is long because we wanted to share our experience as the details do tell the story. The short version of it is that If you (or anyone you know) are looking for a contractor my wife and I are highly recommending Sigura construction. You won't regret this decision. The long version: The Sigura team just finished a 3-month remodeling project on our house and did an amazing job. They have completely transformed our house. The before and after looks like two different places. Night and Day. Seriously! The entire process from start to finish was fantastic. It felt different already with the quote. Ilan Sigura, the owner, was very diligent when we requested a quote. He came for an hour (maybe two) tour of our property and took very detailed notes of everything we wished to do. Within few days we received a very detailed quote. It provided all the details required to make a sound decision. If you are the person that likes details, you'd love the quotes Ilan provides. It breaks down each sub-project, line items, labor, and material. Easy to read and use for budgeting and tracking.! A week or so before the project started Ilan came again for a 2nd tour and brought with him Jose (dedicated on site project manager) and Chris (material supply). He made sure everyone on the same page and clear of what is required. This made us feel so comfortable with our decision to select Sigura constructions for our home remodeling. After all, it's a big decision and it felt we are in good hands as everyone assured us, they will treat our house as theirs. In the same meeting we also agreed on what will be done each week and, on a day,/time for a weekly follow up meeting to review progress against schedule and or issue and additional requests. We couldn't ask for better system to manage the project. Jose, our dedicated on-site project manager, is a great person and magician when it comes to constructions. He showed up every morning on time with a positive attitude and tons of energy. If he had any question, he would give us a call before taking actions. We were very impressed with the quality of his work. He never cut corners and will go the extra mile to fix any issues he sees. Jose is professional and dedicated; He took this project so seriously that he and I used to joke about him dreaming about it. We felt so lucky having him leading our remodeling. Jose's right-hand man for the project was Rudy; he is the painter and dry wall artist. He takes so much pride in his work. Each time we had the opportunity visiting the house during the remodeling he will proudly tour the house with us and showing all the work done.!! But it's not just Jose and Rudy it's the entire team that are so professional, polite, and hard workers. We were worried that with such a long project our neighbors might be annoyed and upset (I mean who likes 3 months of constant daily noise) but the on contrary; they told us the Sigura team was very polite and nice. They maintain clean street, only came during working hours and didn't take parking space. It was a relief getting this awesome feedback from our neighbors. The office crew: Ronit and Chris are also amazing. Chris made sure all required material for the different stages of the project will arrive on time. Ronit helped with any general question and did the billing. She provided details for each invoice in a very clear manner. She provides fantastic customer service and will take the time warmly answering any billing question. Last but not list; Ilan himself is hands-on. He can be reached out daily through text messages and phone calls if needed. He works around the clock and have unlimited energy and patience. He is very experienced and knows remodeling can be stressful times for homeowners and as such will make himself available when needed. He will typically respond immediately and if busy will return a call within less than an hour. He is also very honest that cares allot about his customers. He provided throughout the project so many good suggestions even if it meant less money for him! He gave us project credit because he found that an item from the original project "wish list" wasn't needed.! Unbelievable. He built his business for more than 20 years and will make sure the quality and overall experience are the best. Great experience with Sigura Construction. Yes, it was that good! We are so pleased that have decided to do another big project with Ilan and the entire Sigura Construction team. Rare find.

Sigura Construction has been remodeling my kitchen/living room. The construction required new load-bearing beams and significant architectural changes (plumbing, PG&E, as well as structural changes). Also, new wood flooring, painting, with new windows. Lot's of work and activity. Sigura has both met and exceeded my expectations. They are a professional team, led by a project manager that takes personal interest in the work. In one example, our PM asked that some work be re-done, it didn't meet the standard of excellence that Sigura promotes. Just like every home improvement project, there are bumps along the way, such as misunderstandings, additional work and cost unknown until the project progresses. Again Sigura has communicated with my wife and I, as early as possible, and in some instances gave us options. In the chaos of home improvement, Sigura has excelled in managing the chaos.

I was so lucky to get Ilan's team support! I needed an expert work at my house. Reaching out to Ilan I have received a super fast reply. He sent a team of two professionals who completed the work in half the time I expected. They were polite, kind and professional. They did exactly what I expected! I grew up watching home renovation shows and always dreamed of having the perfect home. I found out about Sigura Construction from a friend after she gave me a tour of her newly remodeled home. I was so envious and felt like I had to make modifications to my home as well. I showed Sigura a few examples of kitchen designs I collected from Better Homes & Gardens magazine throughout a few years. Together, we designed the most beautiful white, french country style kitchen. He was very understanding of everything I asked for while adding his touch of expertise. Sigura Construction is absolutely outstanding! Ilan and his team helped us from the very beginning -- designing the changes to our house, making thoughtful recommendations on colors and finishes, and handling all the city approvals quickly and without stress. What really amazed us was the speed and quality: our entire home was fully rebuilt in just 6 months, which is about 60% of the time that other builders estimated. Throughout the process, Ilan and his team were incredibly patient with our requests, always willing to apply changes during the build, and consistently delivered high-quality results. The end result is our dream home, built above and beyond our expectations. We now fully trust Sigura Construction, and they have earned our highest recommendation for anyone looking for a reliable, experienced, and trustworthy builder.

I am extremely happy with Sigura Construction's work on my home. There was a fire damage and none of the other construction companies wanted to work with me because they did not want to deal with my insurance company. They wanted $ handed over to them on a silver platter without having to work with my insurance. I spoke with 5-6 different construction companies, some local and some not, and after one or two conversations, they ghosted me. Nobody returned my calls or emails. I believe I called each place 6 or 7 times before I realized they did not want my business. It was frustrating and I was losing hope. My home remained damaged for a year and was a sore sight for the neighbors. Then I came across Sigura Construction. Found them on the internet. I called and spoke with the Office Manager. Then Ilan visited me and I gave him all the details. He took measurements and pictures and drafted up a quote. He and his staff were patient and unwavering and understood how to get the resources needed to fix my home. My insurance company was initially going to offer a measly amount to fix. They only cared about fixing or "bandaging" the exterior to cover the burn and maybe repair the wall. However, the damages and effects on the house were more devastating and Ilan was able to point that out to my insurance. He was so experienced at his work that he specifically described the damages and and what exactly was needed to bring the house back to its previous state which is an obligation of the insurance. He also knew the law too. Sigura Construction stuck with me every step of the way and did not abandon me like all the other construction companies out there. Truthfully, I think those companies probably were not smart enough to deal with my insurance and backed off. Anyways, I am so glad I found Sigura Construction and I will definitely use them again for anything else I need.

We were highly referred to Sigura by friends and can not be more impressed. We had a tree fall on our almost brand new house and we needed quick and professional repair. Ilan (the owner) personally handled all of the interaction with the insurance company shielding us from all the messiness there and came out to perform the work within a week of the final insurance approval. He followed up promptly with a site visit to make sure we were personally satisfied with all aspects of the job even though this is considerably a very small project for his company. I was extremely impressed!
