“After several remodels and a couple of emergency jobs due to floods in our house, for the first time, I can recommend a contractor with no reservations whatsoever. Our house recently got flooded due to a burst pipe and suffered extensive damage. We have been slogging through an agonizingly slow remodel and simply could not bear to have this job take a long time. On the recommendation of a friend, I contacted Sigura Construction (408) 888-7478. I explained that my top priority would be speed of execution. Despite the implied invitation to bid high, their bid came in at the lowest point and with a commitment to start the very next day, which was Monday of last week. For the following 8 working days workers showed up here at 8am every day and never left before 6. In this time, we have completely rebuilt our playroom, and one bedroom; and made very significant repairs to a second bedroom, our kids’ bathroom and the bedroom hallway. The same workers handled sheetrock, painting, some electric and some flooring and the quality of all the work is uniformly excellent. The owner stopped by every day to check on progress. As I mentioned earlier, while this was happening, I was also working on a remodel that was started back in January and is still lingering. On several occasions, I asked the Sigura workers for help on bits and pieces of this other project. They were always willing to help, gave these requests the same level of attention and quality and… I was not charged for any of it. Cumulatively, these requests must have added close to a day to the project but there was never any complaint or request for compensation”.
